The 72nd Welsh National was treated to a superb set of entries for the various under canvas competitions. The creativity of CaMC members was on full display, and we are very happy to report on some of the results.
The author is compiling this set of results retrospectively and it's possible that I will make the odd mistake. If you spot a mistake, please excuse me, and please also let me know so that I can immediately correct it. Thank you!
Wine Making Competition
Dry White Wine Winner
The homemade dry white wine competition was won by Carl Price of Dyfed Centre, congratulations!
Sweet White Wine Winner & Runner Up
The homemade sweet white wine competition was won by Donna Price with Carl Price runner-up, Dyfed Centre. Congrats!
Junior Bannerette
The Junior Bannerette was highly contested by Bucks Centre youngsters Lucy Phillips (Winner), Billie Phillips (Second), Ellie Withers (Highly Commended). Excellent work!

Adult Bannerette
The adult bannerette was widely contested with Seren Gunningham the winner for Gwent Centre, Michelle Shemilt in second place for South Wales Centre, and Gemma as high commended also from South Wales Centre.

Floral Competition
The floral competition was won by Donna Pritchard for Dyfed Centre, congratulations and thank you for your entry!
Craft - Children's Garden
The Children's Garden was won by Ollie Graham, with Kien Thompson in second place and Amelia Thompson highly commended. Congratulations! 🥳

The handmade card was won by Sue Milburn for West Wales Centre, and second place was Wendy Gray for Gwent Centre. Some very impressive entries here, congratulations to both.

The winner of the peg bag entries was Natalie Faithful for Gwent Centre, and in second place was Sue Flecknall also for Gwent Centre. Some serious skill is on display with these entries, certainly out of my league! Congratulations and well done.

Another excellent set of entries for the crafts competition. This was won by Tracy Bell for West Wales Centre, in second place was Cath Beevers for Gwent Centre and highly commended was Natalie Faithful for Gwent Centre.
